Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000 annually

Job Description

  • Provides Linux systems administration and operational support for mission-critical environments, including command-line system administration and application, data, and messaging flow management.  

  • The candidate should have solid, hands-on Linux administration experience and be comfortable independently troubleshooting and resolving routine to moderately complex system issues. 

  • Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.  

  • Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.  

  • Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems

Operations Coverage: 

  • Standard business-day coverage is 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, with team members coordinating schedules to collectively provide full coverage. 

  • Provides 24x7 after-hours on-call support through a rotating schedule, typically with each team member serving as primary on-call approximately every 5-6 weeks. 

  • On-call support compensation and extended coverage compensation is provided. 

Education & Experience

  • Five (5) years experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.  

  • IAT Level 2 Certification required

  • Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to: Knowledge, skills, & abilities, Years of experience, Education/Certifications, Program placementDuties & responsibilities, and Internal equity. More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed. 

  • OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.

  • BONUS STATEMENT: All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
