Provides application and systems testing support for a mission-critical environment with strict compliance and operational requirements.

The position is responsible for executing functional and compliance-based testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and supporting the full software testing life cycle.

The ideal candidate has solid Linux experience and the ability to work independently in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform application-level and systems testing in support of mission requirements.

Execute functional testing of COTS and vendor-provided user client applications.

Verify applications properly interface and operate with ITS components and meet established compliance requirements.

Develop, execute, and document test cases, procedures, and results throughout the test life cycle.

Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.

Perform testing and troubleshooting in Linux environments using command-line tools as needed.

Support compliance testing against defined technical, security, and operational requirements.

Work with engineering and operations teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.

Contribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.

Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux environments.
Education & Experience
-
Five (5) years experience with a bachelors degree, or 10 years with out a degree, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

IAT Level 2 Certification required

Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to: Knowledge, skills, & abilities, Years of experience, Education/Certifications, Program placement, Duties & responsibilities, and Internal equity. More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.

OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.

BONUS STATEMENT: All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
